•FOURTH WALLING / CANON PUNCTURE: I'm fine with him finding out that he might in fact be a fictional character (ie, he mentions Chocobos and a geeky character would blink because whut) but I'd prefer no one is aware of his actual individual canon.

•AVOIDED TOPICS: Nothing, really. I would prefer that anyone who is uncomfortable with any plot be as up front as possible, though, because I'm super happy to adjust for someone's comfort. Figuring out ways around stuff is some of the best creative challenges of RP!

IC CHARACTERISTICS:
•CURRENT CANON POINT: After the end of the game when he has finally been killed both in the real world and in the Beyond.
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Ardyn is a tall, reasonably well-built man with longish magenta hair and amber eyes. He is quite handsome, really, not that he seems interested in doing anything with that fact. He usually sports a certain amount of stubble and a fedora, and he wears a collection of scarves and shawls over what actually looks like a rather nice pinstripe suit. His 'true' face, which shows the effect of the Starscourge on him, is incredibly pale and ghoulish with black instead of the whites of his eyes, corruption dripping from them.
•DEMEANOR: His mannerism is generally rather jaunty and friendly though anyone with a Sense Motive worth half a damn is going to notice that there's a bare edge of something faintly unsettling about him as well. He moves in grand gestures and tends towards sweeping phrases and charming little comments and he gives Absolutely No Fucks about any attempts at intimidation or complaint. He's all syrupy amusement with a knife edge underneath.
•ABILITIES: He's a master strategist, a political manipulator of the highest order, and bizarrely enough, a very good driver. Physically, he's probably on the top side of strength and speed for a human of his approximate size and he VERY much knows his way around a fight, what with being an OP warrior king thousands of years ago let alone now. Supernaturally, he can meddle with time in the immediate area (can't go back, but he can slow it or stop it) and can trick the senses using people's memories to make himself appear as other people (complete with voice etc.) or make other people appear as something else. He can also manage a Nightcrawler-like 'warp' across a space if necessary, though he can't do it more than once without it winding him. That's about what he's got for the moment (thankfully!)
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: He's been alive for thousands of years. Instead of blood, he has black sludge, the Starscourge, inside of his body. It's currently inert.
•CABIN INFORMATION: Other than the lack of a bathroom suite, it will be the rooms that he once held as King of Lucis, the royal suite. As such, it will be opulent and even somewhat overblown (fitting to him) and done primarily in blacks and grays, as those are generally the colors of the house.He hates it like burning.
•OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Everything and nothing. He doesn't actually care about anything but he may act upset or offended depending on what it might serve. The only thing to get actual disdain will be the mention of kings or beneficent gods or 'saviors' or anything like that. He's basically pissed off crazy evil Jesus so that's... a thing.
